This course is designed for Construction Workers, Construction Foremen, Construction Job Supervisors, Construction Superintendents, Construction Project Managers and others involved in construction activities.

10 Hour OSHA Construction Course
Course Description:
The OSHA 10 Construction course is the learning foundation upon which all other safety training is based for the construction industry. The OSHA 10 Construction course provides the student an awareness of OSHA and safety and health issues relating to the construction industry. OSHA recommends the Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an OSHA construction safety and health 10-hour course completion card from the Department of Labor.
Note: This online course has been audited and accepted by OSHA for online training.

Learning Objectives:
- Enable students to state the purpose of the OSH Act and list the functions of OSHA
- Students will be able to list the OSHA inspection priorities and describe the inspection process
- Students will understand the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees under the OSHA Act
- Students will be able to identify hazards in the workplace and be able to, control or eliminate the identified hazards.
- Safety will become an active part of each students day, working with fellow employees and their employer to make the workplace a safer environment for all involved.

Seat Time:
This course has been approved for 10 hours of seat time.
Testing:
At the end of each module, you will be given a 10 question quiz. Once you have successfully completed all of the modules, you must pass a final exam to receive full credit for the course. The exam is 25 questions and will test your knowledge on information covered throughout the course. You must attain a score of at least 70% to pass this course. You will be given up to three opportunities to pass the final exam.
